I'm new to brewing (4 batches now) and have transferred to a secondary each time. Reason? Mainly clarity. So far, no issues at all with contamination. I submerge my siphon tube in StarSan prior to siphoning and also sanitize my carboy and the airlock components. It only takes a few minutes. When ...
