I am LDS and know my church is the restored church on the earth today. This church was restored to the earth along with the priesthood by the power of God the Eternal Father and his son Jesus Christ through the Prophet Joseph Smith.
Nephi 25:26
26 And we talk of Christ, we rejoice in Christ, we preach of
Christ, we prophesy of Christ, and we write according to our
prophecies, that our children may know to what source they may
look for a remission of their sins.
Movies:
Some of my favorite movies of all time are: Dances with Wolves, Far and Away and A Few Good Men. I loved Savior of the World and many other church produced play and shows.
Music:
My motto: Have a song in your heart and you will never be unhappy. Music can make the difference between having a bad day and having a good day. I enjoy most genres of music and find I'm the happiest listening to music or singing it. It can be uplifting to me to have music added to everyday learning and I find it can soothe me or make me take notice of things in an instant. I enjoy singing in my church choir and love this music.
Books:
I enjoy reading the Bible, the Book of Mormon, Pearl of Great Price, and the Doctrine and Covenants. I love to read and don't always have the time to do what I call pleasure reading but when I do I enjoy biographies.
