I was at beale 92-94 when I retired. Ddin't see much of the SR71 while there but the runway and surrounding area look like Beale. I was also at Kadena 82-84, used to grab a 6-pack of bud and watch the "Habu" take off late in the afternoon...quite a sight.
He was great with that young man...Chet would be extremely proud...
