Silent Musician

I'm an avid musician with a major focus on romantic and contemporary works, as well as late classical music. I'm a concert pianist, violist, violinist, and cellist, as well as a music teacher. I'm currently principal viola in my high school orchestra, and am entering my senior year. My intention to is to attend the Florida State University to pursue my BME in Instrumental Music Education with emphasis on piano and viola, so that I may later get my MM in Orchestral Conducting, and ultimately my Ph.D. in Music Theory and DMA in Performance. I began playing the piano at the age of 12, studying with a jazz pianist by the name of Andrew Whittington,and upon my return to Florida from a 3 year stay in North Carolina, continued teaching myself. I began the orchestral strings in my freshman year of high school. I now study viola with a professional violist, I have played as a guest with the Venice Symphony Orchestra, and I am a repeat camper at the audition-only FSU Honors Piano Camp.
