Three brave engineers from BF Goodrich Aerostructure ventured off on their own to build a 1902 Wright glider and in the process educated thousands and touched the lives of so many. Now they want to continue to teaching others about the history of early aviation and now wish for you to become part of the team of Wright Adventures!

In 2003 three engineers from BF Goodrich Aerostructure with the help of family and friends built a replica of the 1902 Wright glider on their own spare time. This was the culmination of years of study of the Wrights as a hobby.

The project proved to be a magnet for people and allowed the team many opportunities to educate people about the wonder of what the Wrights did. Now the goal is to take this kind of activity further by forming a not for profit organization that will allow Wright Adventures to dedicate full time effort towards this interest.

Study and promote interest in the events, the technology and the people involved in the invention of the airplane and the aerospace industry by the Wright Brothers.

Bring the legacy of these achievements to the public, especially children and young adults.

Encourage such activates in others by partnering with volunteers, organizations and companies in the community especially schools K through 12 and institutions of higher learning.

Provide a basis for research for future generations of historians.
