WorldSkills UK is a set of vocational skills competitions managed by UK Skills in partnership with organisations from industry and education.

The competitions are run yearly and are open to those who are studying or who have a maximum of five years relevant employment history.

There are over 50 skill areas in the following industry sectors: Built Environment, Engineering, Information Technology and Business Administration, Creative and Cultural Arts and
Social and Professional Services.

Exceptional WorldSkills UK finalists may be invited to train as part of the team that represents the UK at WorldSkills, the world's largest international skills competition.

WorldSkills UK competitions are supported by the Department of Business, Innovation and Skills, The Scottish Government, The Welsh Assembly Government and the Department for Employment and Learning, Northern Ireland.

WorldSkills UK are quality assured skills competitions are run annually. Their aim is to encourage people across the UK to excel in their vocational skill.
