On July 4th 2005 I set on on my motorcycle embarking on a solo journey around the world that would take me through 50 countries and over 50,000 miles.
On January 15, 2006 I broke my leg in the middle of nowhere on the Altiplano at 16,000 ft in the Andes in Bolivia. I was medivac'd back to the states two days later for surgery.
On October 18, 2006 I returned to Bolivia and continued my journey. By the middle of February 2007 I reached the end of the world - Ushuaia. After that I rode through Uruguay, Paraguay and Brazil to the Amazon River. Then in November I crossed the pond to South Africa and since late 2007 I have been exploring the African continent until Spring 2008 when I crossed into the Middle East.
