About Me:

Liz Smith is a science filmmaker and multimedia producer. She holds a Master of Fine Arts in Science and Natural History Filmmaking from Montana State University and an undergraduate degree in Astronomy from Whitman College. Liz has produced films and multimedia for the Waitt Institute for Discovery and at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center. She has also produced documentary work for the National Park Service, and numerous non-profit organizations. She has worked as a science reporter for the NBC affiliate in Bozeman, Montana. Liz is member of Filmmakers for Conservation (FFC), the flying Ninety-Nines and American MENSA. She also sits on the Alumni Advisory Council for Montana State Universitys Department of Media and Theatre Arts. She is a certified Advanced Scuba Diver and a private pilot.
