Born of a Welsh-Gypsy-Hoosier Father and an Irish-Pentecostal-Texan Mother,musicians were common on both sides of the family. My parents taught me a few chords and melodies on piano when I was eleven. I started learning to play guitar in Texas when I was seventeen,and soon thereafter began to learn other instruments. Not long after that I began to perform publicly and have been a working professional musician in several different musically styled bands and on many recordings. I operate Woody's Music,a guitar-shop in St. Louis,Michigan. I also run a 24 track recording studio and yes,I'm in a band!
