If you make your tenons with good plywood, they are even stronger. Try breaking a small piece of 3/8" ply in the vice. See what I mean? Thanks for your faith in 'slip-tenons'. I use them almost exclusively.

Just a thought Dom. Unless I can't get the profiles I need with an 8mm shank, I don't buy 1/4" shank cutters any more. I bought some 8mm collets, that fit my Elu 96Es, and for cuts that need to be done in one plunge, (or at full depth) there is far less vibration in the router itself. Has to be g...

Very interesting Dom. But it's not just the Decibel Level that does damage, it's also the pitch. I can't understand either, why Kreg 'remodelled' the jig, by taking a backward step, and returning the lever to the rear of the jig. I was lucky to get the front-mounted clamp model, which was the first upgrade. I love it.; although I can't bring myself to rely on pocket hole screws ...

Six drills? Why not mount just one, and move the workpiece along, same as Kreg's Pneumatic machine? You would still eliminate the need to keep clamping and unclamping the normal Kreg Jig, ! Which is the point of using the machine of course. All the same, nice idea, even if it seems like overkill...

I try not to criticise, because I don't have the means to make videos. But it sounds as if your saw blade needs sharpening, or the fence is not parallel with the blade (or both) That's why you are having trouble pushing the workpiece through the saw. An outfeed support needs to be the same height...
