VOTE 4 The Pistachio Code (COMPUTER)
WONDERFUL is the first company to think of finally marketing one of the most healthy, addictive snacks, the Pistachio nut.
2010 deserves a modern, futuristic and humorous commercial that would represent something Green and good for you!!
Is that so nuts?

First off, the contest was fun and we did try pistachios for the first time. But like the many others, I have questions about "the rules". What happened to all of the video entries that Wonderful Pistachios did for people around the country? As I recall, I didn't see any of them in the approved gallery prior to the judging. Was that because they weren't 15 or 30 seconds? Or ? Just thought that was strange. And also curious is that none of those videos taken at the locations by Wonderful Pistachios were in the top 10. So spontaneity and "home movie" type videos were not what you were after? If you wanted "professional quality" or any specific qualitiy, you might have mentioned that as part of what was being judged. There were plenty of funnier videos (like the ones with the pistachio telling jokes or the monster puppet ones). It just seems the handling of the contest was not done according to how the rules said it would be.

I just went to your (DeStorm)website and read your story. I am impressed. You are very creative and smart about this online stuff. Its all about marketing yourself and you have done an amazing job at that. Robert Veach (aka. Harry got crackin") Sorry about any negative post I have made.

I see a lot of people are angry that some top 10 videos feature music, which seems to be against the rules. I think the rules were just not specific enough, and therefore open to interpretation. "No background music" to me means, don't have a radio or TV playing in the background with some non-cleared music. For most contestants, it was easier/simpler to just follow that rule because they might not know what cleared or public domain music means. For the video making savvy (such as myself) we took it to mean that it was/should/is actually ok to use properly cleared or original music. That's my take on it. So don't be angry that they we're following the rules, be angy that the rules were not written clearly enough. Oh yeah, watch my video!!!
