About Woman Workout
I am a woman who has been interested in health and fitness for over 25 years. After taking classes and working out in gyms for years, I wised up and became a fitness instructor.
I focus my attention on women because in my former work as an educator, I noticed so many woman nurtured and took care of others, but found it difficult to make time for themselves. With such busy lives, many women put their needs on the back burner.
This neglect of personal wellness generally leads to loss of muscle, an increase in weight gain and poor eating habits along with a variety of health issues. Women are aware when they are not taking care of themselves, but feel too overwhelmed with career, family or personal goals to stop this unhealthy pattern.
The tag line for Woman Workout says it all "Practical Fitness For The Everyday Woman". My desire is to help you incorporate healthier habits into your life as a means of creating a happier, healthier you.
My channel is intended to offer practical suggestions , advice, encouragement and motivation to those who could use a little inspiration .

I am a woman who has been interested in fitness and promoting good health for more than 25 years. My journey stated when I was in my 20's and began having problems with my heart. It turned out I had something called Mitral Valve Prolapse. The doctor gave me a pill and instructed me to take it everyday for the rest of my life.I was not all that happy with this solution. It seemed that I was way too young to have to take a pill to feel good. Thankfully, I was wise enough to ask if there was any other means of solving my heart issues. He then suggested that I get my heart stronger by exercising. That was all I needed to hear. I was off and running to a healthier me.
