So, I'm confused... Didn't they say that the whole tree of knowledge thing was a sort of mutiny and that the powers that be (were) never wanted us to have knowledge... then, minutes later, they say that those same powers that be exterminated the lesser hominids for not being as advanced as us? If...

Of course, those myths all have a different timeline and so that probably doesn't make much sense unless it was an oral history passed down from one specific event...

Anyway... truthfully, I'm skeptical of all of this stuff, but from a strictly sci-fi standpoint, it's pretty interesting to make ...
