About Wolfgang Lehmkuhl
Wolfgang Lehmkuhl's creative adventures began at the age of five, making crude radio skits with his writing partner, Dan Probst. Armed with a VHS camcorder, his teens were spent shooting a wide array of video projects. After graduating, Lehmkuhl moved to Dallas, where he worked as a freelance photographer and cemetery groundskeeper. The production of the feature film Cannibal marked his return to St. Louis, as well as his directorial debut. He has since made a second feature, Surviving Dirk, the short films Reject This Film, Fate Accompli, Psychological Sample, and Strumpet, nine music video/short films for the Nine Inch Nails Ghosts Film Festival on YouTube, and is author of the novella Alchemy Rum. In between projects he tinkers with photography, using only 35mm film. He's currently lurking somewhere in St. Louis, seriously pondering a third feature film and a second book.
