@ThrashMetaltillDeth Well, i think incubus on beyond the unknown had better musicianship, but like you said who cares. I love both bands. I own an original deathlike silence cd of the awakening, and its still my favorite in my collection.

@MegaMalevolent, i disagree. ive heard people say possessed was death/thrash, and not full death metal. of, course, i do consider possessed to be dm, but volcano is about as deathly as any of those bands. and the formed before. its all a matter of opinion, i guess.

People who were actually there, or grew up during the time dont seem to have a problem with the term grunge. it seems like my generation of 17-21 year olds adopted this new found hate from not only the term, but the music as well. i think its bogus.
