About Zach King's Videos

Music has been a part of my whole life; I can remember doing it when I was like 2 years old, druming on a little plastic, marching-band style drum that I loved. At 3 years old, I was jamming on my little mini-guitar because I wanted to play like my dad. At 6, I was busting out the Fisher Price tape recorder with my sister to lay down some tracks. Later, at about 12 years old, my friend taught me rythm and how to make beats and hard-knocking drum sounds on any surface I could get my hands on. Then, when I was in college, another friend came through and taught me to play the drums, something I had always wanted to learn. I kept working on music over the years, here and there; but, I never really did much with it. So, I always had the desire in me to create music, but I never really had the means of production until the summer of 2003. That summer, a co-worker gave me some computer programs and showed me how to make beats. I quickly bought the equipment I needed and recorded my first song. Since then, I've come a long way. I now know how to record, produce, mix, and master music. Becoming a professional is a process, which I realize. Right now, I'm loving that process. To everyone reading this: let's keep music real and positive. Music is an artform. It requires people to be true to themselves and to their audience. TRUTH: Be yourself; it's (you're) good enough. TRUTH: People don't need more drama and fear; they need hope. 'Nuff said. Enjoy.
