About Me:
Traditional style Hawaiian music has become my passion. I firmly believe that the music and hula are so closely integrated that to separate one from the other is only getting half the story. Hawaiian mele are so poetic, so beautiful and so deceptively simple. Once you begin to understand the kaona (hidden meanings) in the mele, you will be in awe of what it took to craft such amazing songs and chants.
