"I'll stop the whole world from turning into a monster."
Ugh. It's finally completed. Sorry that my first video of 2012 is a rather big piece of crap, but at least it's the next Illuminated segment done! (Or at least it would be the first if I didn't have to change the pitch of the song...lol). It's not that I don't like this video in particular, the beginning and middle I'm okay with, it's just the vision I had in mind when making it did NOT come to life sadly. That's always a disappointment to any visionary.
Sorry about reusing some scenes from the previous two videos. I seriously tried very hard to have new manipulated scenes, but it is definitely not easy. These two video games are completely different from each other, one emphasizing color and big features and the other more washed-out and zoomed-out. I hate masking and really suck at it, so manipulation and cookie cutter is what I use to blend clips. I did the best I could!
I will apologize for my negativity in this description. I've just been sick for the past couple of days and I feel like complete crap. Lol.
As far as the ending goes, I do have one more idea in mind. However, I put the question mark at the end because I am not sure if I will be making this last video. I probably am. I'll forever feel like I left the project incomplete if I do not, but it still remains just a rumored question for now just in case I decide to give up! lol. It'll be a small little video so don't expect it to be over the top. And it may take a while to come out. I want it to be flawless since this particular one was a fail.
PITCH SHIFT!
Story Plot:
The story picks up with Vanille and Zack still underground in the tunnels. Upon seeing a portrait of a woman cocooned in a monster like body, Vanille begins to tell Zack of her history, about her fighting the curse for centuries, her partner who rejected her upon finding out the beast within, and the ill-fated night her curse went too far. Vanille collapses with emotion, but Zack comforts her and assures her he will remain by her side until the curse is broken. They begin their journey again through the ice lands, where they happen upon a glass wall concealing piles of bodies—a reminder of what the world has suffered from. Later that night, Vanille and Zack cry in the rain and vow to stop the world from turning into a monster. When they happen upon a city station, a news casting pops up, altering the public of a monster on the loose. Zack tells Vanille they must take shelter somewhere away form the city to avoid the public. They find a small village near the coastline and are given a place to stay for the night. As Zack sleeps soundly, Vanille covers her ears in horror. She can't ignore the pull in her body. The next morning the village awakes in a fright when the body of an elderly woman is found in her home. The villagers have a summoner perform a sending for the woman to which Zack and Vanille attend. They both know how the woman died. Vanille watches the mourners as shame tugs on her heavy heart. After the ceremony, Vanille cannot be found. Zack goes searching for her and finds her by the water's edge. He knows she feels guilty for what she has done, but he assures her it wasn't her fault. They will make it through and break the curse, they must. So their journey moves on—through the flowerbeds, through the slums, across the world—and the tension follows. Eventually it becomes too much for Zack and he breaks. He heads for Vanille, clutches her arms and pulls her close, but their embrace is cut short by SOLDIER who have caught up to them. They open fire on the couple. Dodging the bullets Vanille clutches onto Zack's arm, pleading they must go. But he shakes his head no, telling her she needs to go on without him. With on last look, Vanille runs off to break the curse as Zack stays behind to fight his once fellow soldiers. Far away from him, Vanille manages to make it to the temple she long sought after. She approaches the oracle, demanding he remove the curse. With a sudden bolt of energy and dark magic, Vanille is submerged in pain, and miles away from her, Zack, too, is suffering. As the final shots ring out and the last of the magic is emitted, both victims fall. His eyes close and her body glows, but Vanille smiles in her final moments. The world was finally rid of the monster.

Oh how beautiful it is when you're sick!! :)
There have been so many gorgeous Arwen videos for this song. I mean it makes perfect sense too! Arthur and Guinevere are LEGENDS! But then again, so are Lenne and Shuyin to me. ;)
This song is perfect for Shulen. The love these two have for each other. The sacrifice Shuyin wanted to make. The strength and patience Lenne had. The love, people, the LOVE that fueled, even after a thousand years.
Besides, a thousand words / a thousand years. Get my drift?
Story Plot:
No story really just fluff.

"I may fall, but I swear I will help you believe."
So after seeing Spazzy'z xmas dedication, that made me bawl like a baby, I was so inspired to use the same song. It SCREAMED Shulen! Though I was more than pleased to see Notlen in Spazzy's video. I can't not tell you how pleased and happy and GOSH jus the utter emotions I felt watching your vid Spazz. You are truly wonderful! Thank you so much. For everything.
This video is dedicated to Spazzy. It is hers. She gave me the idea. She gave me the inspiration. She gave me the song. Therefore it is all hers.
I tried really hard to portray the lasting emotions of what Lenne and Shuyin must have been feeling in their final moments. Personally I'm a little disappointed with myself because I feel like I just fall short of that. When I envisioned this video, I saw such raw and heart wrenching feelings, I was so very moved. But I don't feel it in my videos. I hope you all think differently? I did my best.
So yeah, SHULEN OVERLOAD! And so much more to come! Mwhahahaha!
Oh, Boyce Avenue, how you melt my heart. I swear, when it comes to this band, I am just puddles of tears, mesh, and beauty. When I heard the line "we're gonna lose everything..." oh gosh I can't speak. I'm bawling! BAWLING! SO BEAUTIFUL! T_T
Story Plot:
Just follows through Lenne and Shuyin's tragic story and their final beautiful moments together.

"You don't know you're beautiful."
Yes, I'm sure this song is overused but I absolutely love the message. I first hand can sympathize with it, and although it may sound self-centered, I totally thought of myself when I first heard it.
So I still felt bad for bashing my Shulen pairing with my Fall video, so I made this sweet video *cough* and a couple others *cough* to make up for it! I always felt that Lenne portrayed an inner sadness so beautifully and that she would be the perfect person to portray in this song instead of Yuna or someone else that most people would have picked. Beside, just imagining Shuyin playing this song on the piano for Lenne just makes my heart melt. ^-^
Dedicated to all those insecure women. You don't know how beautiful you are.
No story, just sit back and enjoy the fluff!
Ps. I'm still sick so sorry if I seem bland.
