I understand, French is not my favorit language but most now in Normandy speak it, like in Brittany as you know. But here at least I don´t have to use it. Did you know that it is the 11 century anniversary of Normandy this year? We are honoring our identity, culture, language and of course Viking forefathers. I have many Breton friends. I think your Lambic is not bad but I like my Calva better. And the Mont is Norman in it's history and architecture + the Norman borders are 4km to the west of the Couesnon. Feel free to visit my country Normandy specially this year for our anniversary. May the 2 Breton languages Brezhoneg & Gallo live for a long time!

I'm from Normandy and I refuse to write French. I speak perfectly my Norman language, the language of the kings of England for 300 years after the Norman conquest of England in 1066. This year we are celebrating the 11th century of Normandy! Both Normans from the continent and from Jersey and Guernsey are participating. Tell me what of the 2 languages of Brittany do you speak, Gallo or Brezhoneg?
