the chemistry they have even today shows through. they were incredible to watch on the court. i would still argue the 1980 wimbledon match was the greatest in history because of the incredible rivalry and chemistry with mcenroe/borg.

"soft boring tennis"? i don't think so. borg was the first tennis player who did serious athletic training. mcenroe had played 5 sets the day before and didn't train like that - but he WON. a natural genius against another great player who trained himself a level above physicall...

that interview proves his genius - and why he gets so angry. he demands so much of himself (his shock that he only had 2 unforced errors), he demands it of everyone on the court.

my god...chang was *incredible*, much younger than mcenroe, just kept moving...it shows that even past his prime, mcenroe's genius with his volley was still untouchable. just...wow.
