One of the greatest moments for our entire family was the Fargo Star contest when Kallie won the contest with her performance of Mamma Mia. Our family worked together and had some of the greatest moments in the selection and rehersals of this performance and then ultimately the night she performed and won the contest. As a result of the vicotory we flew down to South Carolina for Kallie to participate in the American Idol auditions. It did not matter whether Kallie was selected for the show or not, our family works so closely together we celebrate our love of music together in ways that moves the soul. Later that year Kallie recorded her first two original songs at Gray Barn studio as part of the prize package. Today Kallie attends college for interests other than music and yet she sings in a way that still makes her Daddy cry. (less info)
