Never watched the show before, had the t.v. on some random channel playing in the background & actually found my interest caught, saw this bit and almost "Braka Madiq" when I fell down laughing! No relation.

Lovely music but seems so familiar, as though it has a real '60's vibe goin' on. Does anyone know if it's a remake of a popular song of the period?

Out working in my garden, listening to NPR, Ardoin came on the radio and I had to stop what I was doing and start dancing. Metal head hubby looked at me like I was crazy but started dancing with me. Never heard of this guy but fell instantly in love with the music and the voice.

@seannylol - I love that! My mom did the exact same thing! I always heard this playing when my sister and I were kids and now my son (who really likes heavy metal) will still jam out to this tune, great memories;)

@maddermaus - I agree, although I think that one of her strong points was her abiltiy to make a song so evocative, its as though she's singing of a tragic childhood memory.
