Last time I had an inordinate number of misfires with my M1 carbine was due to the magazine spring put in backwards. Just saying it's not always the ammo, and worth checking. That being said, nice carbine - wish I could get the folding stock, but I'm in the wrong state for that...

@abtsadiemaekole Yes, it was a little complicated, but the original hacker's instructions were really good and it only took a weekend to put together and program once I had the components. Here is a link to the original page if you want to take a look: members.cox.net/jmccorm/santa.html. You sh...

Awesome video. I was originally thinking of a 590a1, but today went to the local gun shop and handled a 590 SP. I like the ventilated shroud and bayonet lug. Nice options if (yeah, probably a big IF) I need them. Thanks for your opinion regarding the aluminum receiver - makes total sense. Al...

Hi, nice video! Not sure about your 30-round mag, but the last time I had consistent misfires with one of my 10-round mags (I'm in CA) it turned out to be the spring. It was assembled backwards (not upside down, just backwards). I think that this somehow causes the round to be presented incorr...

Hey, Nutn, thanks a lot for this video. I shot a shotgun for the first time a few weeks back, and soon after started looking for one for myself. I typically like a military-grade long gun (so far all are C&Rs), and you just sold me on the 590A1. Your video was well thought out, detailed, and h...

@setchmaniac22 You're wise beyond your years. I don't think I had this on my playlist until I was about 25... I agree regarding the radio. There is a LOT of crap, but luckily there is also some good stuff. Different from this, but good stuff.
