About THE WINEMAKERS
THE WINEMAKERS joins twelve men and women as they compete to create and launch their own wine label nationwide. In each episode contestants face challenges on every aspect of wine making from viticulture and enology to sales and marketing, but in the end only one contestant will win the title of Wine Maker. Season I of The Winemakers was set in California's Paso Robles wine region and aired nationwide on PBS in more than 92% of all TV markets in 2010. Season II of The Winemakers was shot in California and France's Rhone Valley and will air nationwide on PBS Fall 2011.
