About Word of Truth Bible Church

Word of Truth Bible Church emphasizes the teaching of Scripture so believers can know God through His Word (1 Tim. 3:15-17). Once we learn about Him through His Word, we can then trust Him personally for salvation and endeavor to accept and utilize His provisions and walk as His commands. Bible study is necessary to knowing Him and walking in His will.

The Bible is at the center of our fellowship as we study it verse by verse, interpreting it plainly, considering the original languages, and paying attention to the historical and cultural context from which each human author wrote. On occasion we slow down in our verse by verse exposition of Scripture to study important doctrines that help us to understand the theological framework resident in the Bible. Since God the Holy Spirit is the divine Author behind every human author, there is theological continuity throughout Scripture.
