About this user

I'm not smart enough to understand and to change the world's understanding of Science and the nature of the universe, but I do know a lot about Religion from my awful experiences with them, especially Mormonism, which I was a member until I was 14 years old, and experienced discrimination so extreme that it forced me to move away, and closet my disbelief in Religion until I was in college. In that time, I attempted suicide several times as a result of the personal conflicts between the reality that I was led to believe, and the world as it actually exists, and the betrayal of my parents and community that work so hard to maintain such an obvious lie in the face of great evidence. I left the church and have never felt freer, and happier. I am free to explore whatever I want to explore without the limitation and prejudice of faith-based belief.

I hope that my acquired knowledge of religion, and my reasonable understanding of science can be used by humanity to fight off those that feel so emotionally compelled to push a contrived ancient lie onto society, and destroy the future of humanity.

Joseph Smith was a man. A man that learned early on that the best business model on the planet is the hijacking of the two human instincts of fear and greed. The believe that in hell you will have nothing but pain, and in heaven you will have all things, and it will only cost you obedience and 10% of your income, and the sales of a product that you never have to produce or deliver. He was a weak man, who couldn't accept criticism, had no sense of honor, and couldn't keep his dick in his pants, no doubt. His teachings are faulty and littered with holes and fallacies, known to all but those too lazy to pick up the book and read it without giving up critical thinking skills. I know that as soon as somebody says: "Homosexuality is wrong, the bible says so" that they have never read the bible, and are only mentally capable of vomiting up the vomit they were previously fed by a dishonest, or power hungry bishop, eager to fulfill the desires of the apostles, and multi-fallible prophet of the church.

To those people who accept without study, who claim wisdom without knowledge, I pity on you, and I will call you out for what you are. An idiot.
