Horrible filming, but sound advise thanks for the post. You can also some times just sink a cold chisel into the head and turn the chisel with a wrench.

If you want to release the mouse alive pour some cooking oil on the glue trap especially around the legs and whatever else is stuck to the glue, the cooking oil will deactivate the glue, it's much easier for you and the mouse.
