I'm a married, full time student (and I also work) in my mid twenties, who absolutely adores music and all things related to it. My husband and I are both huge fans of healing and helping those around us who can be helped and/or healed, though I find it far easier to work my magic on animals than people, and Iorek finds that people seem to flock to him for the help and support they need.
Most of our friends and family call my husband and I "Iorek" and "Wolfie". We are a couple of goof-ball hiker/climber/photographer types who enjoy running, trekking, mountaineering, safaris (the kind where you run around shooting elephants and lions with a camera), long camping trips, heavy backpacks, windy base camps, rocky cliffs, and cold weather. Iorek is obsessed with Mt. Everest and hopes to someday climb to the summit. I (Wolfie), on the other hand, am not that crazy, and would prefer to wait for Iorek at base camp with my guitar, some hot apple cider (maybe Slater style, with a bit of tequila in there to keep me extra warm), my digital camera, my video camera, my laptop, and access to the internet (with which to blog about the adventures of Iorek and The Wolf).
Life is a funny thing. The longer Iorek and I are together, the more it makes me laugh. I absolutely love being alive, and being a part of everything that comes my way - be it through chance or through purpose. The tragedy that some people (and some animals) fail to avoid does not escape me, and both Iorek and I will always reach out to catch those who fall within our reach, but refusing to laugh and be laughed at is a mistake that could cost one their chance at pure joy. So smile a little and have a good time. Spend a little money where it's necessary, pick some flowers when they're available, and let the photographs tell the rest of the story.
