About Me:

Thanks for checking in. The purpose of this channel is to present music as it was heard on AM / top 40 radio many years ago. Unfortunately, I can't do requests on account of limited time and copyright issues.

If I post an exact date in the info section that is the date the song first entered the Billboard top 100 or Bubbling Under chart if it did not make the top 100.

If you are looking for clean digital sounds this is not the place. This site can be used as a sampler as a lot of these tunes are available on Ebay in their original vinyl format.

Initially, on my two previous accounts I tried to avoid what had already been posted, but then I figured a different group of people see each individual poster, so I felt there would be a better chance of a song being heard if it was posted 40 times instead of once or twice.

For those who don't care for videos of a record playing, the 45 rpm in the title plus the visual effects should be a clue to the contents of the video. That is one of the benefits of multiple tabs on the browser.

Thank you for subscribing and for most comments.

Whopfrog2 - I just added a second channel with some of my "newer" records from the mid to late 70s to balance things out a bit. It is slow getting started. Thanks.

I like your choice of music. I subbed to your channel. Also, there may be a way around the copyright issues but you have to allow ads on the offending video.

Whoopfrog: I haven't heard these songs in ages. They were definitely a part of my childhood. You just don't hear these songs on the radio anymore. They just play too much junk today.
