Up until the boxed set release "Moonlight Baby" was only available, and taken from, the cassette I recorded at Mrs Holley's house in 1980. As with a number of other acetates Holly would re-record for Decca in the 1956 Nashville Sessions

I spent many hours with Buddy's parents, and have a recording with Mrs Holley saying that when Maria Elena arrived in Lubbock, following Holly's death, she just kept saying Buddy never called me!
