Sounded like it tached out at 7,000 RPM!

Those big blocks can't take high RPM's like small blocks can.

An I6 at 5,500 to 6,000 RPM!

It was revved up @6,000 RPM!

Not to mention, how dangerous that was!

Nothing like the sound of a belt-driven Whirlpool or Kenmore or Inglis washer! Sounds as good as music, and WAY better than today's plastic junk!

This is when they made washers that really CLEANED your clothes, and were sturdily built, instead of today's plastic junk that shreds the clothes.

This portable DVD player is built like a tank! A solid, substantial feel to it, like the older Maytag helical-drive washers!

My Mom had a 1960's Kenmore-not EXACTLY like this one, but close enough-it had the same agitator and a sieve lint filter-it was my favorite thing in the house, when my Dad got rid of it, I was upset. I was only 4 or 5 years old then.

This is when Maytags were good-the REAL Maytags built in Newton, Iowa, not the new Whirltags of today!

This washer was so violently off-balance, that if it hadn't stopped, it might have torn itself up-self destructed.

Nice car-looks like a brand new 318 engine-we used to have a brown Dodge Aspen station wagon with the 318 engine/two-barrel carb. It gave us good service, and had lots of power, too. We've had nothing but good service out of Chrysler products.

Could you please make a video of it off-balance, and tripping the off-balance buzzer? I haven't heard that in YEARS.

One of the best agitators in my opinion was the old belted Whirlpool Surgilators and Double Duty Surgilators!

I really miss Swestoyz' older 1-18 youtube video-the one where he comments "This is the 1978 Frigidaire 1-18" and later washes grease rags in it-it had been deleted. I wished it were still on Youtube.
