@revonreed Wasn't actually 'Bob' but 'Bill'.
Bill Putnam was the engineer at Universal Studios in Chicago where Walter recorded all his best stuff,and yes it was Bill who got that sound on Walter's harp.

@willwelsh816 It's a ten hole harmonica on this track-Honer Marine Band in Bb,played in the key of F.
The big harmonica in the photo is a Honer Super 64 Chromonica,sixteen holes.He used that one on some of his other records-'Lights Out' is an example.

This video demonstrates that holocaust denial and anti-semitism are entirely cogent.
Your starting point is that you hate Jews-the rest writes itself.Easy isn't it?

@dburlison1 Doesn't say 'someone loosened the E string'-total misquote!!!!!!!.
It says Grady raised the pickup under the bottom string,read it properly.
Everyone now knows that the genius guitar playing on the Nashville sessions by the Burnette trio was Grady Martin,as I have known since 1982.

@kustomkultureart You are talking about Rock'n'Roll-you can go back to 'House Of Blue Light' by Ella Mae Morse from 1942 which predates your examples.''Rocket 88' by Jackie Brenston' is R'n'B.
Rockabilly with the slapback sound started with Presley.The precursor is 'Love My Baby' by Junior Parker...
@theclarkey100 Didn't mean to be a know-all. It does sound like an early recording in both sound and content.I just happened to know the origin,
Cheers.
