About this user

I am a T-4 through T-8 paraplegic. Since leaving my government post in 2008, I work part time as a substitute teacher as well as talk to school children about disability. I don't believe in feeling sorry for myself or make myself out to be a victim due to my disability. I went back to work 5 months after cracking 3 vertebrae and crushing 2 from the T-4 through T-8 in a motorcycle accident in 1992.
