@learntocrochet1 The machine that came in this cabinet is a 1917 Singer 66K that from what I can tell was original to the cabinet, so both should be the same age. It is oak and is what Singer called in their "Mission Style" cabinet.

Yes, I didn't show that very well. All you do to lower the machine head back down inside the cabinet is give it a good firm push down. There is nothing to push or turn to do that...just a good firm push down. Might be a little tough for a short light-weight person to do...lol.

@KarenQuiltsTexas From what I've read, the back doors open to allow for ventilation. I'll consider doing a video showing more detail on how the cabinet and machine work together. Thanks for the suggestions!

@goldnchocolate GREAT! You'll love your 319w!! It treadles so nicely and it is my "go to" machine for 90% of my sewing, especially repairs and quick this or thats. These really are the best all-purpose machine Singer made IMO.
Be sure to clean and oil her very well before using her!! Have Fun!

@mswmullis Yes, I do have to slip the treadle belt off the big treadle wheel below, so I can lean the machine back to reach the bobbin underneath. That's my only complaint about the 319Ws...location of the bobbin!!!
She's not quite as quiet as she seems in the video. I turned the video sound do...
