Since 1999 I have been marketing my own businesses to a local market. I have struggled with the challenges of most business owners and quite frankly gotten pretty great at lead generation and being found online. I have spent as much as $1000 per month on yellow pages (ouch no calls thats tough). Since 2005 I have spent over $102,300 online marketing, and getting my local brick and mortar business found online...What i have found is that most people " at least the "A & B" customers buy story. They like to know how you got here... They like the fact you are are an Entrepreneur and want to suppport you... they like the fact you coach soccer and are envilved in the community and the fact that you might have caught a really big fish last summer.... Don't get me wrong they need you to be able to solve their problem but your storry is what sets you apart and lets people connect to you....So dont be affraid to create that " Attractive Charactor" of your business or you if it's appropriate...
