I've come under a lot of fire on youtube for my comments on the video "Fat people will make u piss u pants". This is because after reading some sickeningly cruel things being said about the overweight kid in the video, I pointed out that just because someone is overweight, it doesn't automatically mean they should be hated or that they are bad people. (and no, I am not overweight) In our society, people are always preaching tolerance, peace, and open mindedness but more often than not, people treat those who they come across in their daily lives like shit and never practice what they preach. I wonder how these people would feel if they had an overweight child, friend, loved one and somebody made cruel, hurtful and ignorant comments about them. I bet they wouldn't think it was so funny anymore. If anyone has some legitimate remarks for me in response to this, I'd love to hear them - and no, calling me fat doesn't count.
