3) What would happen if one of the big studio corporations actually bought out Youtube (heaven forbid!) or opened a amateur-submission video website similar to youtube? Would smaller producers who submitted videos on that site then be required to pay the same kind of compensation to their writers as the large corporations? Keep in mind, large corporations are well known for gobbling up smaller ones when it fits their profit motive.

2) I don't even live in the state of California, but suppose I made a very low budget movie on youtube, which later aired on the networks website. Maybe even a cartoon that I thought up and drew all by myself, or maybe just got about 3 friends together and performed a little skit or music video. Now that animation is out of the picture, the cartoon probably wouldnt count for WGA compensation, but would the skit? (Being a fair person, I would of course share any WGA compensation I got with the friends who were in the skit.) Or would the skit count as a reality show?

I have just a few questions.
1. Suppose work created for internet gets residuals and health plan benefits and pensions and all those goodies under a new agreement. Ok, now suppose I, "Jane Q Public", post my idea for what I think would be a good show on one of the networks forums (like Disney for instance). The rules on Disneys forums say they own any and all content posted there. Would the person who posted the idea on the forum that was used by the company be entitled to any WGA compensation? |

Notice given to the WGA site, pleae watch and observe WGA ethics: "WGA I am writing this to notify you that one of your supporters has created multiple usernames (lizjewelry, earlboylou, etc.) and is posting pro WGA comments pretending to be many different WGA supporters. Are these WGA sanctioned tactics? If they are not, please block this user (users, hahaha). For examples, go to your "Why we Fight" video comments."
