Endangered Cultures, Endangered Languages

An estimated 6,500 languages are known to exist across the globe. The vast majority of these languages are spoken by small communities of indigenous peoples. Many of these communities are experiencing unprecedented political, environmental, and social change. As a consequence their cultures and languages are often put at risk. Each of you can help by promoting awareness and getting the message out concerning these rare endangered cultures and languages.
