Weston is the son of one of the Original Hinsons founding members, Kenny Hinson. Kenny was unfortunately taken from us far too early as he passed from this world to Home in July, 1995. As a result, of his fathers death, Weston battled several years of deep depression, and saw many low points in his life. The deeper he fell into despair, the harder it was for him to see any hope until one day, God changed his life with one simple word. One of his favorite passages in the scriptures is found in the gospel of Mark chapter 2, where a man sick with palsy was carried to Jesus, and when Jesus saw him, He called him SonSon, your sins are forgiven youMark 2:5: Arise, take up thy bed and walkMark 2:11. Psalm 68:5 says that God is a father to the fatherless. Weston now had a firm hold on his identity in God, his Father. It was through the warmth of Gods love, that changed night into day, it was revealed a new life in Christ Jesus. Weston then found a new passion to follow what God had blessed both he and his family with, and that being the gift of music. Weston has many styles of musical genre that he sings, ranging from Country Gospel to Praise & Worship, all to minister the word to the broken hearted. I want to spend my life mending broken people, as Dr. Mike Murdock puts in his song. Weston has dedicated his life to ministering to those who feel hurt and alonebroken and scarred. It is through this gift that God has placed upon his life that he feels is his avenue to reach out to people and carry them to Jesus.
