Since 1984 we are a specialised audio visual content provider in show business, music, Arts and travel: stories, pictures, online videos and audio statements, which comprise in radio package. print articles and material for web sites. We like to be different and like cross-over research and reports in economical and political affairs touching cultural issues. Inspired by the initials of founding member DB it is also to become a data base.
West One News relies on more than 25 years of experience from an established team of journalists. Founded by Mr. Bohne, a former Rias Berlin producer/presenter, some high profile journalists, producers and writers are carrying on his legacy supported by a dedicated team of contributing journalists and native-speaker presenters.

Lately we have signed an agreement to consult World Music Heritage in order to launch a radio station, Popmundial, and we joined a campaign to SAVE THE MUSIC. West One News will contribute with its music and editorial experience also to SpanglishLondon, an upcoming London newspaper and online magazine.monthly publication "Spanglish London".
Own Publications
Since 1996 publishing our content directly on the web has increasingly challenged the radio business. We founded "Berlin-Inside", Berlin's only daily English speaking magazine on the web. It was the successor of "Metropolis", a supplement of "Der Tagesspiegel" we contributed to.
In 2000 the production and news room moved to London. We founded West One News in the heart of the London's West End. This explains the name. Since then we have moved on to Battersea and now Chelsea, we establishing now "Focomundial.com" as successor of Europe Inside, Londres Latino and London Monitor and especially SPANGLISHLONDON.com with worldwide affiliates such as Spanglishberlin.
