the prawns were from kookaburra park the sandy beach bit next to the boat ramp , ,they have started showing up again at the moment , all though not that big yet the prawns it will only take a couple of weeks to get to the big size , they are banana prawns and that season they were 15-20cm in length , the threadies are there at the moment ranging from 65cm-1mtr , i was hoping to break the 150cm thready this year , , fingers crossed!!!! live gar would be good but the bull sharks like them as well but still a good fight!!

Dude thats a ripper of a fish! I used to live in Anstead as a teenager, I try to get up there to fish for gar at colleges sometimes. Where did you catch your live prawns? What about live gar? Wanna go fishing sometime? Whats your e mail address?
