@SMITEM1 PETA is an acronym--it stands for People For the Ethical Treatment of Animals. It's a group of animal activists known for protesting meat consumption, wearing leather/fur, etc. Look them up for more info.

@Shyranis I remember hearing the CD tracks as a kid (I think it was between a queen and a pawn) and I DEFINITELY thought they were sex sounds.

I do think the director was right in cutting this scene from the movie--it's complete overkill, and really just unnecessary. But on its own, it's beautifully shot and so haunting.
