Yours truly, for some reason nicknamed "Indian" by the boys during military service ("jarheads" back in the day), is just your garden variety, middle aged, happily married, and just as equally happy-go-lucky guy in most all ways (unless, of course, you're putting positively perfervid eyes on my Twinkie - a beautiful & brainy lady who I'm NOT willing to share).

Anything else? Oh yeah - just FYI, it was Ben Franklin's pursuit of moral perfection back in his own day (and which is documented in his autobiography and worth a read, so check it out) guides and propels me in working each day to become "all I can be" - but without joining the Army, you see, because I cashed in and out of the Marine Corps, some time ago, and so now, being a Vietnam-era veteran, it's interesting, as a matter of perspective, to kick back and relax, watching the younger generation busy about the business of building, bonding and more - in Iraq and elsewhere - as they in turn do some serious stepping-up-to-the-plate to bend down where necessary in doing all the heavy lifting in the name of peace, pacification and a purposeful US humanitarian presence.

If it's true that music soothes the soul of even the most savage beast, then there must be equal veracity in the notion that overly numb neurons need to be nourished - daily - with some degree of pursuit of lifelong learning. The latter, which is my greatest passion, is one that'll hopefully never go out of fashion.

Interests, hobbies and such? Too many to tally up and tabulate for you here...a clue might be to tell you, just so you knew, that a mightily vivid and enjoyable memory dates back to the day, in Jack Murphy Stadium, when the Redskins took apart Elway and the "invincibles" of Denver's Broncos in Super Bowl XXII. Go Riggo! - and all who follow.

Ever the aspiring writer since my earliest school years, it's been my very good fortune to have had a whack at getting back to the basics of the writing craft through a marketing-centric career in various management roles, creative endeavors and even several eagerly pursued entrepreneurial business start-up ventures of various kinds.
