I was one of the founder members of The Castlemilk History Group. I used to play in Glasgow's largest Samba Band, SambaYaBamba. I played the Mid Surdo (Big Drum). It was awesome. We played all over Scotland, T In The Park, Tarbet Music Festival, West End Fest, Oban Inverness, Irvine Girven, Dundee etc. The Band has got better and better and is travelling wider afield, out to Ireland Music Fest, Coburg Germany the Wickerman Fest... http://www.sambayabamba.com/
