How is SongClan different?

When they reach one moon old, a kit gets a string of dried vine around their neck. A single leaf is then placed on it. They get markings on this leaf, made from crushed plants; A purple dot in the middle if they were born on a solar eclipse, or a red one for lunar. If they weren't born on an eclipse, they get a yellow dot for daytime or a blue one for nighttime. They will get a white circle around this dot, then, if it wasn't a full moon, a line will be marked through it to show the moon. Dried petals are then placed on both sides of the leaf. On the right, one will mark the season they were kitted on. A white leaf means leaf-bare. A pink one means new-leaf. A yellow one means green-leaf, and a red one means leaf-fall. On the left, there is one to mark how many littermates they have. White means they have no littermates, and blue means one. Violet means they have two, and orange means three. As they grow, this necklace gets more decorations.

Becoming an apprentice

If they were apprenticed to the deputy, they get a dried cherry. If the leader was their mentor, they get a dried chunk of apple. If they are apprentice to a warrior, they get a bean.

Becoming a warrior

Becoming a warrior awards a decoration for each trait mentioned in their ceremony, meaning they get two.

Determination: A pebble.
Enthusiasm: A dried blossom.
Independence: A seed.
Strength: A piece of oak wood.
Spirit: A dried white flower.
Honesty: A dried light blue petal.
Patience: A chip of stone.
Forethought: A small piece of sugarcane.
Loyalty: A piece of gold (fished out from the stream).
Intelligence: A dried yellow rose.
Faith: A dried pink flower.

Becoming an elder

For this, you either get a piece of a violet carrot (they're real) or a piece of an orange carrot. For the violet, you must have kept your warrior name. For the orange, you must have gotten a new name with your eldership.

Becoming the deputy

The bone of a mouse is awarded to deputies.

Becoming the leader

The tooth of a fox is put on the necklace of the leader.

Medicine Cats

Upon becoming a medicine cat apprentice, you receive a piece of blue gem for your necklace.

Upon becoming a full medicine cat, you receive a golden dot on your crystal.

If you cure a fatal illness, you get a piece of emerald.

If you save a cat with fatal injuries, you get a piece of diamond.

Death

If your mentor dies, a spot of red ink is put on your apprentice decoration.
If your mum dies, a red dot is put on the bottom right side of your leaf.
If your father dies, a navy blue dot is put on the bottom left side of your leaf.
You get a dried berry for every kit that passes away, and a leaf of basil for a dead mate.
