No offence to Madame Asha Bhosle, for she is one of the greatest singers of the Subcontinent, but she has not done justice to this ghazal. I would encourage friends to listen to the rendition of this ghazal by Habib Wali Muhammad and form their own opinion.

she is good but no match to the original ghazal by Farida Khanum. I think the problem is this artist has slowed down the rythm too much as opposed to the origninal version by legendary FARIDA KHANUM from Pakistan. Maybe she has slowed it down because she cannot carry note at that high pitch.
