About this user
Since 1897, Rebekah Children's Services (RCS) has cared for the most vulnerable members of our communities while adapting to changing needs.
Today, RCS is a nonprofit, 501(3)(c) organization that offers a full continuum of family-centered mental health care, education and training that promote the healing, healthy development and future success of those we serve. Gilroy based, with offices in Campbell, RCS services are extended to several counties.
Children with severe emotional, mental, or behavioral problems receive care and mental health treatment through the Residential Program.
For children at risk of removal from the home, RCS Wraparound services support the whole family.
The Foster Care, Permanency & Adoption Program recruits foster parents, offering training, 24-hour telephone support, respite childcare, a childcare stipend, and adoption services.
Links 2 Permanency is a systematic effort to connect emancipating youth to lifetime familial relationships where family members are not readily available or where ties may have been interrupted.
Therapeutic Behavioral Services (TBS) provides intensive, structured, time-limited interventions for children whose challenging behaviors put them at risk of losing their placements. TBS also assists children in residential care in making a transition to living in the community.
The Non-Public School provides a quality education experience for special-needs children, supporting positive educational growth in a therapeutic setting.
The community mental Health Center provides office-based, school-based, and in-home Outpatient Therapy for referred children.
Prevention and Education services are provided to over 3000 children annually in 13 Gilroy schools.
