Hi. Welcome to my channel, which is dedicated to both my musical and software development endeavors.
I'm a professional musician/composer/ self taught software developer. My musical career has spanned almost 30 years, and I've been blessed with wonderful associations with some truly gifted artists.
As a developer, I've spent the last 14 years or so pondering the relationship of music and geometry....what is going on in the mind's eye of a musician when they play.
It all started from an inspiration born of the early era pianos players who would accompany the silent pictures......what would happen if you could allow them the control the screen?
So that is what I set out to do....create a software animation engine that would allow any midi based musician to travel through an immersive three-dimensional space and control and interact with the visual elements.
So after having the opportunity to interact and share this work, it's becoming clear that there are many applications. Marrying visuals and music is powerful, and it has great potential as a therapy tool. There are interfaces available that will convert brain wave activity to midi data, and it is my hope that I can have an opportunity to explore that possibility.
I'll be adding music and software generated movies on a regular basis, so drop in often!!!
