WCB T.V is a educational channel to help injured workers better understand the Worksafe B.C ,WCB policies.
Hear we will link individual cases with the policies that are effecting all seriously injured workers with their permanent Disability's.
We would also like to start the
Seriously Injured Workers Federation is an organization established to help seriously injured workers in the acute stages of their injuries. The first days are crucial for thousands of seriously injured workers. Documentation of all injuries and proper medical care is mandatory, availability to an integrated health services provided by Fraser Health. S.I.W Federation is there to assist seriously injured workers and their families through the dramatic change in their life styles. Education on prescription drugs, their true needs and their long term effects should be a component of the package. They will need Nutritional guidelines, Physical Therapies, mental psychological and emotional aspects of pain control introduced in the early stages. A proper understanding of natural remedies is essential for long term care. This is established so as to minimize exposure to abuse/addiction from pharmaceutical medication. Legal assistance is set in place so medical files are done with up most care and sent to Work Safe B.C. There will not be any misunderstandings; Work Safe B.C will have acknowledged all injuries, hospital files and doctor reports. Health care workers are sent home with the worker and steps are taken to ensure proper life care is established.
This is the starting point of an organization that is necessary and needs to be established for seriously injured workers.
I am looking for people interested in properly setting up this organization. Making the S.I.W federation a mandatory step in policies for the Work Safe B.C system.
Injured workers are not getting proper medical treatment. They are being fast tracked out the side door due to primarily care for inferred new government change and judicial powers given to an insurance company established to save money. Work Safe B.C.
