@IustitiaPax I don't disagree, but keep in mind that Roosevelt was in a wheelchair. I think Stailn would have been smart to avoid mingling with his countrymen even before the war started.

For sure, Stalin didn't care a whit about how many millions of Russian lives would be sacrificed in his quest to maintain his dictatorship. The individual Russian existed for the purposes of the state, and the state existed for the purposes of Stalin.
